In my opinion, Sock Leng, and the rest of us, even you, is not born perfect, so I think she does not deserve to be called a "shriek" or shrek or whatever you call it. By the way isn't it supposed to be "shrek"? Next, it's true that we all, as all humans do, dig our nose. Yes we do not deny that, but we do not do it publicly, and with that, we are different from you. I've nothing against you saying that girls make you puke, because ultimately you're entitled to thinking in such a way. However so, I'm upset, and believe at least some of us 4D people here are upset too, when you say that we are ugly. Why are we ugly ? In what way are we ugly ? Some of us in 4D do have the means to enter a better class such as 4E or maybe even 4F, while some got into 4D not by choice ! Either way, I believe majority of us do grimace (at the beginning) about being looked down upon when we first entered this class. Gradually we begin to accept this matter of fact. Yi Xuan, I think that if you're really dissatisfied with being in this class, then you are free to go to other better class or so if you've the means, or even to other school (if you wish) ! To end off, I think it is unbecoming of you to leave a threat in the tagboard, saying you want to bring a penknife to school, to use it as a mirror for the girls !! Why so I do not understand ? I understand you may not like our looks, but so what ? Speaking for all girls, we all have no issues as to how we look, and I think you are in no position to critisze our looks because we do not owe our lives to you ! God and our parents created us ! Why should you have any say ? Seriously speaking, I feel really offended and upset with Yi Xuan's comments. Not that I have THAT much of unhappiness, just that I feel I have so much to share here. Seriously I've not much of an issue with this class whatsoever so far, but reading of how my friend, Sock Leng actually got insulted, I really feel unhappy. So here, is my personal opinion, if you think of it of offensive, then so be it. I believe the people who made this blog have no issue with me blogging here.
I'm feel upset for my friend right now, and I will try to type this post as POLITE as I can.
Now, for all those who don't know what is happening, what happened is that he wrote the following messages on Sock Leng's blog, calling a "shriek":

Not many people have been staying back to help out in the class deco and the number of people who had stayed is definitely disappointing.
Although yes, I know all of us have alot of work to do. Be it projects, homework, coursework.. Whatever it may be. But afterall we're still a class, why can't even sacrifice 1-3hours right?
Those of us who've been staying back consecutively leh? I mean, you know you know.
Whatever it is, it's so hard to decorate the class with only afew of us doing the job. Miss last year 3d where we all got together and did our part..
We haven't did much for the class deco alrdy. BECAUSE no time, tired, homework more important. Tomorrow, those who can, just stay back. Thou we all know we're not winning anymore, but, just for the fun of it, ok?

We've come out with a few class motto, & want to seek your opinions about it.
1. Strive & Strike!
(It makes much sense, because strike (4d) BUT it's not 4D, it's FOR(=4) DISTINCTIONS. If you all wanna add or don't want, fine with me!) -for this, i roughly came out with how to decorate the board.
2. Be happy!
(The same one as last year, depends on majority's votes)
3. Embrace & Embark. (?)
(Not sure who came out with this, guess it's Howie.)
In my opinion, I really like 'Strive & Strike!'. But still, see how it goes for you people ya :)
NEXT:
Class deco for noticeboard+ motto board+ CNY need to double up speed because judging day is on this coming wednesday. We'll only have monday & tuesday to complete. Anyone who has any ideas, please submit to Mandy, Joyce or Joanne.
THEME FOR THIS YEAR: Dilligence & Perserverance.
(i know, boring. also, cant rack my brains to think much of how to decorate the class! so,we need everyone's help :D)
THOSE WHO CAN STAY BACK ON THESE TWO DAYS, PLEASE DO. Those who never stay back, needs to do spring cleaning in class. Which means: Wiping the windows ledges, walls, take down remaining bluetacks (some of us done some alrdy), make the board white. This will only be fair :D
Those who're not reading this have NO EXCUSES. As we have putted on the whiteboard under announcements to check this blog. And also have wrote those who can stay back HAVE TO stay back.
People, if you all have unwanted additional red packets, please bring it into class so we can do some DIY. Plus, Sebas, if you have those 'lanterns' made of red packet, please do bring! We only need for CNY judging, after that, you can bring them home.
AND. Please bring a photo of yourself (most recent, NO baby photos) for class deco purposes. Choose your nicest one. If not, we're gonna crop your face from the class photo and print it out.
Instructions are clear. Any queries, tag the board :) And we hope all of you would co-operate. Give us any ideas you can think of!!
CNY's class deco judging day will be on the 21st, people who are free, stay back to touch up!
Let's hope everything will go smoothly! And I hope we'll @ least win a 3rd place for CNY deco. 3 cheers for 4d!

Date: 15th January & 16th January (Thursday/Friday)
Time: After school hours
Venue: School Canteen, beside the teachers' dining area
Eh guys, as you all know we will be having this F.R Bazaar in 2 weeks time. The purpose of this bazaar is to raise funds lah like duh?? On the 15th-16th January, 4D-4F will be selling their products at the same time in the school canteen. 4A,4G and 4H will be selling their stuffs in February.
So as our bazaar coincides with CNY period, we'll be selling CNY food. What we'll be doing is this: We order CNY goodies from shops and then REPACKAGED them to sell them to students. We have to raise $300 per class, and we only got $100 to spend on the goodies. But the $100 will come out from our own pockets first and then we WILL be REIMBURSED around 1 week later. So far our target of $300 profit has already been met because i managed to get teachers to order from us too so we managed to earned quite a fair bit from the teachers. (FYI, every class has to raise minimum $300 with only $100 given to spend. So the 3 classes selling together 4D - 4F have to raise around $1200 i think).
The F.R team includes Ryan, Cosmo & Marcus. On the actual bazaar day, we will need MUCH more people to help out, similar to last year's Family Day Bazaar lah. I suggest that the girls will help out to repackage the food into smaller packets because the food is quite fragile and the girls are better at doing this kind of packaging; while the boys will collect coupons and carry the stuffs and set up the stalls.
The packaging for the food has been settled, and the goodies have been ordered from the shops already. So almost everything has been done, except that we need to raise $100 by next Wednesday (7th January). So on Monday-Wednesday, everyone please bring $4 to school and give it to Ryan Wong to collect. We need $100 only and the excess can go into the class fund for CNY decoration competition etc. so that Mrs Goh won't come and haggle us to pay up again when the competition looms nearer. Thus, its like killing two bird with one stone...
F.Y.I, this is the products we'll be selling on the actual day, and the price and quantity is fixed:
Kueh Bangkit: $1.50 for 5 pieces
Pineapple Tarts: $2 for 5 pieces
Eggrolls: $1 for 3 pieces
So 4D girls who are repackaging it do take note hor don't cock up or else we lose $$ ah. Oh plastic gloves will be provided for those doing the repackaing cos we are going to repackage and sell on the spot when students order it in order to maintain freshness.
Kk thats about it on the F.R part. Any other queries feel free to bombarde the F.R team with questions if your not sure but do remember to bring $4 by Wednesday hor or else we can say sayonara to our bazaar liao. Don't make us work our ass off for nothing lah cos we holidays still need to come back early for crap meetings while you guys at home opening Christmas presents etc. K lah just kidding but please show support arh as this is the last year where we'll be able to work together as a class for bazaar liao.
Anyways, I posted cos I suddenly thought of something, if we are making a 4D shirt, I have an idea. But you all like don't like I seriously okay one la.
We have this pic printed on the back of the shirt, but all the numbers changed to 0 - 44. Then for each individual piece it will circle the numbers "00" and "insert your own index number". So if it is my shirt the numbers circled will be 0, 0, 3, and 5. At the bottom, there will be a 0035 and ya the other stuff la. I can't really find the exact 4D betting paper picture but ya it should be something like that. The 4D betting paper is much bigger and complex than this picture, if you have seen it before you should know what I mean.
I duno if you all find it like ruining image or whatever la haha (cos yeah it has something got to do with gambling and yada yada) I really okay one with your opinions. Everyone is different. Be honest okay? Don't say good thing if you don't like. Just my individual idea man! I understand, people might stereotype us as bad people when they see us wearing the shirt and the rest of the story, lol. I just mainly want to find out if you feel this idea is feasible. Pls give reply/comments on tagboard thanks! Keep in mind that certain religons do not really approve of this and we must give them the due respect.

I used to mind these words&insults.
I still do.
But somehow, I view it in a different light.
It's like when you off your light at home, you still can see the things around and you know where they are.
But when you on your light, it gets no different. So I just switch off my light when it comes to such things.
"Enough said, how about workaholic parents who work 12-hour shifts 7 days a week with only a day break?
It will pain the 16 year old child to see such an process being continued and coming home, still have to attend to his/her needs and some household chores.
The child has no choice but to just do all the chores and help out in any way possible.
The child will most probably want to play and have fun after his/her O Levels and to go "shopping like every other teenager and indulge in unwarranted whims".
However, the prospect of the horror one can imagine is boundless. 5 dollars plus earned an hour. All the fees incurred? Day-to-day meals? Somehow all the stuff that the child wants to buy isn't important anymore.
The child wants to get a NDS Lite for 145 from his classmate but including the cost for a R4 card, it should be nearing 200.
The child is more or less worrying about unneeded nonsense such as money and how to contribute best to his/her family.
What the child most desires in this world now is to get his parent to quit her job and to have enough sleep and to do something else. Something that most mothers do.
Facials, spas, shopping, watching tv, movies, fine dining, sleep, reading.
Heck, the nonsense that the parent faces is mad.
One sms costs 5cents. & the speculating that if stupid dumb child exceeds by 200 every month, it's an 2 hours' effort of the parent's.
The electricity and water bills?
The child wants something good for his parent but it seems impossibly hard.
Not everyone is how they appear to be. We all have different sides. We show certain people our sides and keep certain bad points away from certain people we want to impress.
We can scold/insult people the next moment and say "best friend/brother/god-relation".
What is wrong or what is right?
Most people may think their life practically sucks : parents naggy, siblings irritating, friends not good enough and not meeting up to your expectations, and this teacher that teacher that person this person. Sorry but just shut up, no one wants to hear about it. Don't give "what your blog and so leave me alone, don't comment, don't judge, hate me if you want" kind of remarks.
It's all so cliche and so fake.
After thinking about what the child has to shoulder, it sounds uncanny similar to mine.
Hah! Sorry but I can't help but scoff at the attitude of playing after exams. I think I have grown nutty or I became more nutty.
